These pictures have been made entirely using photographs from the public domain, a few of my own, scissors, scalpel, glue stick and also GIMP.

A big huge massive indebted thank you goes out to all the good people at organisations such as Flickr: The Commons. Wikimedia, and the Open Knowledge Foundation, who work to set up and keep these public domain image archives available to the general public. And to GIMP. And of course a thank you to the people who have taken the actual photographs used, be you alive or (as will perhaps mostly be the case) dead.
